What is the Cape Town Gin Route?

Cape Town Gin Route aims to celebrate the skill and premium gins of six inner-city distilleries, namely Hope on Hopkins, Musgrave Gin, the Woodstock Gin Company, New Harbour Distillery, Pienaar & Son and the Cape Town Gin Company.

With over 20 exceptional gins available for tasting and purchase, from six distilleries within six kilometers, the Cape Town Gin Route strives to bring awareness to this rich, local industry and become yet another reason for food and drink connoisseurs to visit the city.

How do I get involved?

What is the cape town gin tour?

The Cape Town Gin Tour is an extension of the Cape Town Gin Route. A full day, immersive gin experience, it includes a guided full-day tour of all the distilleries, which will include a tasting experience of each gin, and even the opportunity to make your own. We recommend contacting each distillery directly, as they will gladly share the costs of their unique offering and tasting experience with you.
